  Training: Full training starts the first week in September. All training sessions are held at Roman Road Sport Centre ( Meole Brace School) and are free to club members
Tuesday Evenings- Starting 2nd Sept
Girls and Boys Badgers (approx. ages 11-15) - 6pm-7pm
Ladies Club (including older experienced girls aged 13+)  7pm-8.15pm
Men Club - 8.15pm- 9.30pm
Men's 1&2s only - 9.30-10.00pm
Sundays 10am-11am
Junior Development Hockey

  Meet the Coaches
 
 
  Lesley Thomson     Gary Stacey  
Lesley an experienced Level 1 coach who has been invaluable delivering coaching at the Club for over six years. She has also been employed on outreach schemes coaching in schools in North Shropshire and on a voluntary basis around Shrewsbury     Gary recently attended a Level 1 Course. He has experienced success running the Club's indoor team in the past. This year he will help delivering core skills but will concentrate most of his efforts on the Badgers

Steve is an experienced practical and personable Level 1 coach who has made an invaluable contribution to the Club's coaching for over six seasons.His main area of responsibility this year is likely to be coaching the Ladies
   
Ian has just attended his Level 1 course. An experienced club goal-keeper it is intended that he will work towards taking responsibility for coaching these skills within the Club. Along with Gary he will concentrate most of his efforts this season towards the Club Badgers.
 
 
1   Rob Furlong  
Rob's 25 years of coaching experience have seen him working with a variety of Clubs in the SE and both Middlesex and Shropshire at Junior County Level.For two years just before moving to Shrewsbury he managed and coached St Albans HC in the the National League working with skipper Andy Halliday who has since become the England Indoor and U21 Manager.At present the Club's only Level 2 coach he has kept au fait by observing such luminaries as John Hirst and Steve Floyd as well as attending workshops run by the likes of David Vinson and Malcolm Wood
