Shrewsbury Hockey Club currently runs five senior mens teams in the Midlands league & also a badgers team in the Shropshire under 15's winter league. There are also two ladies teams.
we are always on the look out for new players of all ages & at all levels.

Shrewsbury has also been recognised as a ClubsFirst Team which is an England Hockey accreditation scheme for clubs. It is a national recognition of clubs that can demonstrate that they are working towards minimum operating standards

2008-11-03 Black Tie Dinner & Dance
The date and venue of the end of season Black Tie Dinner & Dance will be at the Lord Hill Hotel (Regency Suite) on Saturday 4th April. Please note that this is slightly later than previously suggested, as the larger room at the Lord Hill was not available on the original date. Any Questions please ask Keith Kendall
2008-09-14 Ladies 1's- winners of the Ladies Shropshire
Shrewsbury beat Telford and Wrekin in thier pool match. The games was 1 all at full time but Shrewsbury won 3:2 on penalty flicks through great saves by keeper Angela Comerford. Shrewsbury went on to play the 2007 Champions Bridgnorth in the final. Despite Shrewsbury going ahead in the first half Bridgnorth came back in the second half to draw 1:1 at the end of full time. Again the competition went to ficks, with Shrewsbury winning 3:2!
2008-09-06 Club Open Day
All existing and new players are invited to the club open day to kick off the new season at Roman Road Sport Centre ( Meole Brace School) - Badgers (Boys and Girls) 11am-12.30pm, Ladies 12.30pm- 2pm and Men 2pm -5pm.
